Hello and thank you for stopping by!  I am Ashley Ivester M.S., CCC-SLP  and I am the owner of The Chatter Path, LLC.   I am a clinically certified speech-language pathologist and licensed by the State of Georgia.  I was raised in Cherokee County and attended the public school system.  After venturing off to college at UGA, grad school through East Carolina University, and later starting my own family, I moved back to my hometown of Woodstock to be closer to family and give back to my community.  My work experience in the field of speech-language-hearing pathology entails almost 2 decades.  Seventeen of those years, I served in the Georgia Public Schools and worked after hours in a private clinic. 

Over the years, I have met and spoken with countless families.  Unfortunately, many of these families faced a variety of struggles to obtain the therapy their child needed.  Sometimes, it was a child that did not qualify for the school system but the impact of the child's deficits were evident to the parent.  I witnessed the struggles of parents trying to manage work schedules and transporting their child to therapy.  As a parent myself, I empathized with each difficulty these families faced.  After much thought, I made the decision to leave the school system and focus on the growing need I witnessed in our community.   I understand the challenges faced with adding one more thing to the schedule and juggling life and the needs and wants of our families.  At The Chatter Path, we strive to provide the best individualized therapy for your child with a variety of flexible service options unmatched in our area. 

On a personal note, I have a children's book collection bordering on hoarding but I love to incorporate books and literacy activities in my therapy sessions.  When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, researching many things online, and dreaming of and planning trips for others to WDW.  

It is my mission to provide the highest quality of service to each and every one of my students. They will know how important they are and that their voice is heard.  I love to see their confidence grow as they gain the skills necessary to catapult their abilities beyond expectations!

We are located in Woodstock, Georgia and also serve the surrounding areas.  We travel to daycares, preschools, private schools, and homes.  Additionally, we are able to offer therapy online via teletherapy and in our clinic.
